As announced, the waiting list for the Ultramarathon is now OPEN. Next comes a detailed explanation of its operation.
1. The applications for the waiting list do not require payment but they do not automatically mean a confirmed place either. They will be reviewed by strict chronological order, as soon as the cancellations of already confirmed runners allow us to replace them.
a. If, when reviewing an application, we find that it DOES NOT comply with the qualifying requirements, it will be immediately cancelled and removed from the waiting list.
b. If, when reviewing an application, we find that it DOES comply with the qualifying requirements, we will contact the applicant (via email and SMS) to require the payment of the race fee within 3 working days.
i. If the applicant DOES pay within the deadline, his/her place will be confirmed.
ii. If the applicant DOES NOT pay within the deadline, his/her application will be cancelled and he/she will be removed from the waiting list.
2. The waiting list will be publicly available, so that anyone can check his/her presence and list number.
3. The online form to check the status of your registration will remain active, although from the 16th of January onwards the confirmation database will show only the CONFIRMED places. The form will stay online until the 1st of April 2015, the final deadline for cancellations as per our Regulations. We gently remind you that if the cancellation is processed between the 16th of January and the 11th of February, you will be entitled to a 60% refund, whereas if it is processed between that date and the 1st of April, the refund will shrink to 50%.
